The Warranty applies exclusively to defects attributable to material or manufacturing faults arising during normal use of the unit.
During the warranty period, Dietatec has the sole discretion to repair or replace defective parts. Replacement parts will be shipped free of charge to any port accessible by international courier services (e.g., DHL or UPS).
Delivery time for standard parts is a maximum of one week from receipt of all necessary warranty claim information.
For non-standard parts or parts requiring specific manufacturing, additional delivery time may apply.
Larger or more expensive parts, such as motors, pumps, and printed circuit boards, must be returned to Dietatec at the purchaser's expense if requested by Dietatec.
The general warranty period is 24 months from commissioning or a maximum of 36 months from delivery EXW Helsinki, whichever occurs earlier.
The warranty period does not reset or extend due to warranty service.
The warranty for inner kettle components (in direct food contact) is 5 years from commissioning or a maximum of 6 years from delivery EXW Helsinki, provided no defects arise from chemical exposure or improper use.
The warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear (e.g., signal lamps, lenses, fuses, knobs, O-rings, gaskets).
Defects caused by improper handling, misuse, prolonged inactivity, or exposure to harmful chemicals.
Damage from non-Dietatec spare parts or deviations from cleaning instructions outlined in the manual (e.g., cleaning must use a moist cloth; water spraying is prohibited).
Warranty claims will be rejected if:
Maintenance records, as specified in Dietatec manuals, are not provided upon request.
Maintenance was not performed per the instructions.
Purchasers must promptly notify Dietatec in writing of any defects discovered.
Delayed notifications may result in denial of warranty claims.
If a part replaced under warranty is later determined not to be defective under warranty terms, the purchaser will be charged for the replacement and associated costs.
Dietatec will not be held liable for warranty obligations delayed or prevented by factors outside its control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, supply chain disruptions, or pandemics.
The warranty is limited to parts and does not include labor or associated costs for warranty work unless specified otherwise.
Dietatec’s total liability under the warranty is limited to the price of the defective product or component.
Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit or business opportunities.
All warranty terms are governed by Finnish law.
Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration under the Arbitration Rules of the Finland Chamber of Commerce, with proceedings held in Helsinki, Finland, in English.
