Reflections from HOST Milano 2025

Reflections from HOST Milano 2025
2:04

Now that the dust has settled after another great HOST Milano, I wanted to take a moment to share a few thoughts.

The best part of the fair was, once again, the countless meetings with new, genuinely interesting potential customers and possible future partners. Nothing really beats those face-to-face discussions. That moment when you realize there’s a shared understanding of how things should work in a professional kitchen.

At the same time, it was an absolute pleasure to see many of our existing partners in person again. Talking outside the usual video calls and seeing people in a busy, inspiring trade show environment brings a completely different energy.

Partnering with Regethermic for a unique solution setup

This year, we shared the stand with our partner Regethermic, and the combination worked perfectly. The Genier mixing kettle, with its versatile mixing tools, together with Regethermic’s Pump-Fill Station, created something you just don’t see elsewhere – a complete solution for unique mixing and particle pumping in one workflow. The setup caught a lot of attention from both existing and new contacts.

The theme of the year: New Shapes of Hospitality

Looking back, I’d say our presentation fit the HOST 2025 themes surprisingly well.

  • The versatility of the Genier Mixing Tool connects directly to the theme of “New Shapes of Hospitality”. Kitchens need flexible tools that adapt to changing production methods, not the other way around.

  • Our Genier 360°Sense wireless core temperature technology supports Food Safety through precise multi-point core temperature measurement, full traceability, and the removal of manual checks.

  • And finally, Genier Kettle itself with its features clearly tie into Innovation & Technology – real-time monitoring, wireless data, and smarter control.

All in all, it was a great fair and a strong step forward. I’m proud of what we showed, and even more proud of the people who made it happen. Both meeting customers throughout the event and to handling the stand setup, installation, and the live demos. It’s a huge effort to make it all come together, and we nailed it.

See you again at the next one.
